The brand came to our San Diego office in 2021 having launched on Amazon, but not seeing much traction. They had strong reviews in place, however, their listings were a hot mess and their advertising campaigns had been structured wrongly by the previous agency. A common theme.

CHALLENGES

  • The ad campaigns were structured incorrectly, with improper use of match types, and if keyword research had been conducted, it was poorly executed.

  • Auto campaigns remained the primary focus of the account, lacking sophisticated manual campaigns.

  • The brand store lacked professionalism and a coherent navigation structure.

  • Listing quality was subpar, lacking A+ content and featuring inadequately structured bullets, descriptions, and titles.

STRATEGY

Vanquish conducted a comprehensive brand and competitor analysis, uncovering significant growth opportunities for the account. We revitalised and optimised listings, rebuilt the Brand Store, and reconstructed ad campaigns from the ground up. Through a brief period of A/B testing on both video and image-based ads, we gathered sufficient data to allocate a higher budget, achieving a strong Advertising Cost of Sales (ACoS) within the category.

RESULTS

Sales were at a modest $700 per week when we assumed control of the account, skyrocketing to $92,000 per week within 9 months. We anticipate this growth trajectory to persist as we periodically introduce new ASINs to the top line and maintain healthy inventory levels. The brand is poised to achieve nearly $5 million in top-line sales on the Amazon.com platform alone this year. Furthermore, we are presently crafting a European expansion strategy slated for implementation in 2023.
