APPAREL BRAND AMAZON ACCELERATOR

The brand came to our San Diego office in 2021 having launched on Amazon, but not seeing much traction. They had strong reviews in place, however, their listings were a hot mess and their advertising campaigns had been structured wrongly by the previous agency. A common theme.

CHALLENGES

Ad campaigns were structured wrongly, with match types used incorrectly, and if keyword research had been done...it had been done poorly!

Auto campaigns were still the primary focus on the account, with no sophisticated manual campaigns yet in place.

The brand store was unprofessional and lacked a navigation structure.


Listing quality was poor, with no A+ content and poor bullet, descriptions and title structure.

STRATEGY

Vanquish carried out a brand and competitor analysis initially, and identified enormous potential for growth on the account. Listings were revitalised and optimised, Brand Store was rebuilt, and ad campaigns were deleted and rebuilt from scratch. A brief period of A/B testing on video and image-based ads allowed us enough data to apply a higher budget and obtain a strong ACoS in the category.

RESULTS

Sales were just $700 per week when we took over the account, and have reached $92,000 per week after just 9 months. We forecast growth to continue on the same trajectory as new ASINs top-line are launched periodically, and inventory remains healthy. The brand will do almost $5m in top-line sales this year on the Amazon.com platform alone and we are currently preparing a European expansion strategy for 2023.
